How to Lose 10 Pounds for Your Big Date
Oh no, you've only got a week to lose 10 pounds before that hot date on Saturday night! You're probably staring at yourself in the mirror, randomly cursing as you wonder how you'll be able to lose ten pounds by then. Can you wish it off? Sorry Cinderella, there's no fairy godmother to grant your wishes now. But don't lose hope! It's possible, and I'm going to tell you how to do it.
Water, Water, and more Water!
That's right, water.
You can lose weight quickly with water. Our bodies naturally retain water. When we drink it in excess, our bodies let go of that death grip they use to stingily keep hold of that extra water. This is one of the keys to losing that extra weight, and in less than a week.
Here's how to lose 10 pounds with the water. Drink 100 ounces of water every day for that week.
You can always drink it with a little bit of lime or lemon juice if you hate drinking water. Sweeten it with a slight dab of honey if you have to, but drink your butt off. Literally!
Eat Smaller Portions.
A lot people don't know that you can lose 10 pounds by eating more meals a day. Instead of eating three large meals, it's better to eat 6 smaller meals a day. Yes, that's right. 6 meals a day, however, you want to make them much smaller than a normal meal.
So what kind of portions are we talking about? It could be something like 1 to 2 ounces of lean meat along with 1/2 cup of greens such as spinach. Follow that simple trick and you should have a more trim figure in time for a night out with Mr. Hot Pants.
But don't go cutting back on food so much that you starve your body! All you're doing is reducing the portions and eating more often. Oh, and drinking all that water.
By Saturday night, you can fit into that great dress and hey, after you get home you can put away that box of Rocky Road!
